Burning Rose …
Look at the rose burning up
a disco inferno beautiful and bright
like the light that fills
the night
Soft petals, as soft as a toilet
paper tissue now it’s becoming
an issue because I don’t
need a toilet paper tissue
And it feels like magic when I’m looking
at the rose I’m not ashamed to
tell the class that the
rose looks like magic
